Amidst the serene landscapes of Ungma’s Nature Park, the estate’s dining area has been revamped to welcome guests once again. The ‘Dine Restaurant’, which temporarily closed during the pandemic, has reopened under the guidance of 39-year-old Imti Imsong who refers to himself as the ‘Home Cook’. Imti not only manages the kitchen but also curates a unique dining experience that combines outdoor and indoor seating options.

A Glorious Restart

Following a challenging period of closure, ‘Dine’ triumphantly reopened right after the Moatsü festival this year. Imti Imsong seized the opportunity to host a grand buffet for hundreds of festival-goers in the same venue where the restaurant had temporarily closed its doors.

The Art of Pre-Ordered Customization

Imti Imsong focuses on creating a dining experience that is tailored to each individual’s tastes and preferences. To ensure that every dish is nothing short of perfection, Imti requires guests to pre-order their meals two to three hours before their visit. This approach allows him to customize each dish, taking into account the customers’ preferences and dietary requirements.

From personalized combinations of smoked pork, such as with axone (fermented soybean), anishi (fermented taro leaves), or simply potato, to pork trotters cooked to perfection with options like kholar (kidney beans) or just bamboo shoot or without, Imti strives to deliver an exceptional dining experience that leaves guests delighted and satiated.

The Promise of ‘Somewhat Perfect’ Food

Imti Imsong’s commitment to an excellent dining experience is reflected in his approach to food preparation. He firmly believes that compromise has no place in the kitchen and that every dish must be “Somewhat Perfect.” Imti’s meticulous attention to detail, paired with his creative flair, results in dishes that create an unforgettable dining experience.

Exclusive Rental Option

For those seeking an even more intimate experience, ‘Dine’ offers the opportunity to rent out the entire setting. At a cost of just 3000 INR per day/night, guests can enjoy complete privacy and immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the park. This option is ideal for special occasions or private gatherings.

The revamped ‘Dine restaurant’ at Ungma’s Nature Park, led by the passionate ‘Home Cook’ Imti Imsong, is an experience that delights guests with its personalized approach and delectable cuisines.
