The District Administration, Atoizu, conducted an inspection-cum-coordination programme in collaboration with the Atoizu Town Council, Gaon Buras, Sumi Totomi Loka Atoizu, Sumi Totomi Loka Asukhuto, Students’ Union Atoizu Town and Students’ Union Asukhuto Town.
The inspection team visited several government offices and institutions, including Khelhoshe Polytechnic, offices of the Executive Engineer and Sub-Divisional Officer, PWD (R&B), Sub-Divisional Education Office, Police Station, Primary Health Centre, Sub-District Industries Centre, Government High School, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department, Power Department, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Forest Department and Horticulture Farm.
Following the inspection, a coordination and consultative meeting was held with representatives of concerned departments and stakeholders. Various grievances were raised and proposals submitted, while the needs and requirements of offices and institutions were apprised to the District Administration for consideration and necessary action.
The programme also noted that the PHED and Forest Department offices were found closed despite prior intimation regarding the inspection.
