The Revival Crusade (inter-denominational) under the initiative of Koinonia Baptist Church started its first phase on 21st April 2020 at PWD junction Kohima in observance of celebrating 25 years jubilee in December 2022 under the theme ‘Proclaim the year of the Lord’. The service was led by H Rokopra Mekro, Assistant Pastor, Koinonia Prayer Centre, special praise by Rubies of Koinonia Baptist Church Youth, praise and worship was led by Koinonia Prayer Centre worship team.
Testimony was shared by Bindhu Prasad, a convert, who testified and challenged the people through her divine encounter with Jesus and stated that if people come to Nagaland only for business and did not accept Jesus Christ, it will be the greatest loss in their life’s business.
The speaker was Medotseilieû Kiewhuo, Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church who exhorted the gathering with the word of God. She said, as human beings, we tend to be weakened by sicknesses, family problems and various affairs of life. But the Holy Spirit was sent to empower us to bear it all in faith and whoever receives the Holy Spirit will be strengthened and empowered to face the ordeals of life. Healing prayers were also imparted. The program was also assisted by volunteers from PWD Youth Wing & Colony Councils.
On 22nd April 2022, the revival was held at Poterlane, near public school with the denizens. The service was led by KhriezovolieSuokhrie and testimony was shared by Vizosul Sachû who testified of recovery from alcoholic addictions and healing from cancer of his daughter after encountering Jesus. Special praises was presented by Oasis of Koinonia Youth Department. The speaker was Rokopra Mekro, Assistant Pastor, Koinonia Prayer Centre who shared the message of God from Luke 8:18. He stated that with pride, we cannot establish any relationship with God and only humility will.
The crusade will continue till July 2022 usually on Thursdays and Fridays and it is open to all to come and worship together in the evening at 5:00 pm.
