Mokokchung, 11 October (MTNews): The International Day of Girl Child was observed on 11 October 2023 at GHS Dilong, Mokokchung Town which was organized by District Administration, Mokokcung and in collaboration with DHEW Mokokcung.
A movie on gender sensitization was screened on the occasion. The group discussion and exposition of the theme “Invest in Girls’ Rights; Our Leadership, Our Well-being” was conducted by organizers of the program under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
The ‘dignity kits’ were also distributed to the female students during the program
