Mokokchung, 30 March (MTNews): The Greensight Project, Mopungchuket observed the first ever International Day of Zero Waste on 30 March in the village as part of its ongoing Zero Waste Mopungchuket campaign.
To mark the day, The Greensight Project organized a workshop on leaf wrapping where volunteers were engaged and trained in improvising on the traditional method of leaf wrapping by experimenting with new and appealing leaf wrapping techniques. The Greensight Project launched its Zero Waste Mopungchuket campaign in 2021.
