The Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW) is set to recognize children who have displayed exceptional acts of bravery through the ICCW National Bravery Awards.

These prestigious awards have been bestowed by the ICCW for the past 66 years, acknowledging the courage and valor exhibited by young individuals across the nation. The ICCW accepts recommendations from various sources to identify deserving candidates, although there may be numerous cases that remain unreported.

The details of the 2023 Awards scheme and the nomination form can be accessed on the ICCW’s official website, www.iccw.co.in. The selection criteria emphasize the performance of a distinct and visible act of bravery in the face of impending danger or the demonstration of courage and audacity in confronting social evils or crimes.

Interested applicants are advised to thoroughly review the scheme’s contents and instructions provided on the application form before submitting their applications. Additionally, a copy of the application has been asked to send to the respective State/UT Council for Child Welfare.
All recommendations, complete in all respects, must reach the Indian Council for Child Welfare at 4 Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, New Delhi-110002, by 15 October 2023.
