The Jakhama Inter-Denominational Crusade culminated at Ze-Naki Ground from February 13 to 16, 2025, under the theme, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses to me in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
The crusade was hosted by the family of Azho Sophie, Meyiengonü Tetso, and Tepusüto Sophie.
According to an update from Koinonia Media Ministry, the four-day event featured powerful messages from Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor and Founder of Koinonia Baptist Church and Principal of Kohima Bible College; H Rokopra Mekro, Pastor of Koinonia Prayer Centre; and Zashekho Hibo, Assistant Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church. Their sermons emphasized faith, salvation, deliverance, breakthroughs, and healing, inspiring attendees from various denominations.
On the final service held on Sunday evening, Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, in his message, called upon the believers to look to Jesus and rejoice in the Lord. He stated that God gives equal time to everyone, and one day He will ask each individual if they have used that time for the investment of the heavenly kingdom. He stressed the importance of presenting oneself as a wise person in the sight of God.
Dr Kiewhuo proclaimed that Jesus Christ died for sinners on the Cross, offering forgiveness, which is unique and has paved the way for every individual to enter heaven. However, he emphasized that mankind needs to repent and give their life to Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, he urged the congregation to discover the love of Jesus Christ and respond to that first love in order to understand the word of God. He encouraged them never to separate from God henceforth and to be witnesses for Him.
Khriezovolie Suokhrie, Chairman of the Men’s Department at Koinonia Baptist Church, led the service, while a testimony was delivered by Lhouzakie Rutsa, Deacon at Koinonia Baptist Church. Special songs were presented by the Jakhama Baptist Church Youth and the Youth and Junior CYE of Koinonia Baptist Church.
The gathering saw a significant turnout, as people came together in faith, seeking spiritual renewal and transformation. Praise and worship were led by Meciekhonu Pucho, in charge of the Koinonia Prayer Centre Worship Team.
The event was marked by testimonies of healing, deliverance, and spiritual breakthroughs, echoing the theme’s call for believers to be witnesses to the ends of the earth, as stated by the Koinonia Media Ministry.
It added, “As the crusade concluded, many left with renewed faith and hope, inspired to continue their spiritual journey.”
The organizers expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters for making the event a success, reaffirming their commitment to fostering unity and faith among believers.
