In a significant milestone, an agreement was signed between Arms Incorporation represented by Temjen Bursanen Jamir, Head of Corporate Affairs, Arms Incorporation, Nagaland and INRIS India Foundation represented by Akokla Longkumer, Trustee Member, to generate Japanese employment opportunities in Mokokchung.
Initially, skill sets in Healthcare and Hospitality will be imparted to prepare candidates for overseas employment, an update received here said. “This achievement was made possible under the patronage of the Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and through the dynamic initiative of the Chairman, IDAN, Abu Metha, and his team,” it stated.
The signing agreement was undertaken in the presence of Speaker Sharingain Longkumer at his official chamber, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat along with official representatives from IDAN.
Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer and Sentiyanger Imchen, Chief Secretary and former Finance Commissioner, were instrumental in making this collaboration a reality for Mokokchung.
“The official launching programme shall be undertaken shortly at Mokokchung,” the update stated.
