The Jawahar Bal Manch (JBM) Nagaland organized its State Camp on 26 April at Hiekha Coaching Centre, Kohima, under the theme “Know Your Constitution” which saw participation from young students across Nagaland.
Special Guest S Supongmeren Jamir, MP (Lok Sabha) and President of NPCC encouraged the students to learn about the Constitution and become responsible citizens.
The program began with a welcome address by Kaqheto Kughutu, State Chief Coordinator of JBM Nagaland. The inaugural address was delivered by Manoj Dutta, National Coordinator and JBM In-charge for Nagaland. He highlighted the importance of educating the youth about their rights and duties under the Constitution.
The camp was also graced by the presence of Christopher Tilak, AICC Secretary In-charge of Nagaland, who motivated the participants with his encouraging words.
Adv Yogesh Sharma, National Coordinator and In-charge of Training for JBM, was the resource person. He conducted an engaging session on the Constitution, explaining its key features and importance in simple and interactive ways for the students.
Competitions and activities such as Quiz Competition, Extempore Speech, Martial Arts Display, Fun and Obstacle Games, Group Song Competition, and Drawing and Painting Competition were held during the camp.
Participants actively showcased their talents, knowledge, and team spirit.
Importantly, the camp also served as a selection platform for the upcoming National Camp to be held at Jaipur, Rajasthan, from 11 to 14 May 2025. The top ten participants from this camp will be selected to represent Nagaland at the National level.
