Shamator, 1 February (MTNews): The Jal Jeevan Mission, Implementation Support Agency (ISA), Alongphi Welfare Society and PHED Tuensang Division organized an awareness drive under Shamator District covering 13 Villages under Shamator Block and Chessore Block on 30 & 31 January 2024.
During the drive, the ISA team highlighted the importance of Jal Jeevan Mission and community participation in the mission. WATSAN Committee gave hands-on training and field testing kits to the WQMS team.
Discussions on scheduled topics like accounting and bookkeeping, water conservation, grey water management, source sustainability and many others were held during the drive. The WATSAN members and other stakeholders actively participated while the ISA experts conducted training on awareness and IEC activities as part of the program.
