Jubilee Memorial School (JMS) emerged as the Team Champions in the boys’ division, while Queen Mary HSS (QMHSS) won the title in the girls’ division, with QMHSS and JMS finishing runners-up respectively.

This means that JMS dethroned last year’s Team Champion in the boys’ division, Town Higher Secondary School, while QMHSS had to remain content with the same result as last year. In the girls’ division, QMHSS dethroned Mt. Moriah School as Team Champion, while JMS finished second, just as they did last year.

Under-11 Boys category player Limsang Changkiri of Jubilee Memorial School was awarded the Most Promising Player of the championship. Christian Residential HSS was adjudged the Best Disciplined School.

The participation and success of players from beyond Mokokchung headquarters was an encouraging feature of the championship, aligning with the MDBA’s vision of promoting the game. Mt. Moriah School from Ungma swept the Under-13 Boys Singles category and also won the doubles title in the same category. The school further won the Under-17 Girls’ Singles and Doubles titles. Clark Memorial HSS, another school from outside Mokokchung town, also succeeded in the championship, winning the Under-13 Girls’ Doubles title and improving on its performance in the singles category, where it finished runner-up.
