Mokokchung, 5 April (MTNews): A joint political alliance meet of NSCN/GPRN-K [Khango], NSCN/GPRN-R [Akato], NNC [PB] Z Royim, and NPGN/NNC/NA [MK] was held on 4 April 2024, a press release from the Media Cell of Joint Naga Political Alliance stated.
.“A colossal sized number of officials and members from all 4 groups, led by their respective collective leaders attended the meet,” the release informed.
It further said, “Collective leaders from all 4 NPGs who spoke at the mammoth gathering, while reminding everyone of Nagas being a sovereign people since time immemorial, also acknowledged the contributions made by Naga pioneers, which was then concurred in unison by the congregation.”
The meet also deliberated about why a Joint Naga Political Alliance was necessitated at this juncture, “that envisioned to carry on with the legacy of our legendary Naga leaders and founding fathers.”
Capt. Hukavi, Chaplain of Western Command NSCN-K invoked God’s grace for the commencement of the program and culminated with Col. Athinbo of NNC (PB), who pronounced the benediction.
