Mokokchung, September 9 (MTNews): The Jubilee Memorial College (JMC) held its farewell program for two teaching faculty members – Limasenla Jamir, Department of Sociology and Moalemla Imchen, Department of English – on September 8, 2022 at JMC Hall.
Dr. Imtiwati Jamir, Principal, JMC gave a short speech acknowledging both for their contribution to the betterment of the college and bid them farewell with words of encouragement. Short speeches were also delivered by Tsungrosenla Jamir and Lothungbeni Yanthan on behalf of the Department of English and Sociology respectively. Yimyatetla also spoke on behalf of the JMC Student Council.
The two outgoing assistant professors in their farewell speeches shared their experiences in the college, the challenges they faced as new recruits and their personal journeys of growth. They thanked the college and the faculty for the love and support. The farewell program was attended by both the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the JMC Student Council.
