Established in 2015 by the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) to commemorate its Platinum Jubilee in 2012, Jubilee Memorial College is an integral part of the Church’s mission to provide holistic, quality education.
At Jubilee Memorial College, students can embark on a journey of intellectual exploration through a range of major courses such as BA in Economics, English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. These programs provide students with a robust foundation in their chosen fields, preparing them for future academic and professional pursuits. Each course is taught by exceptional educators meticulously chosen through rigorous screening processes, guaranteeing students receive top-tier education and mentorship.
In addition to traditional degree programs, JMC offers Certificate and Skill Courses tailored to meet the demands of a dynamic job market. From the Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) to courses in Cutting & Tailoring, Basic Music Theory & Sight Reading, and Domestic Electrician, students can develop practical skills that complement their academic studies. The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, approved and sponsored by the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, recently conducted a hospitality course at JMC. Out of the 29 registered trainees, a remarkable 20 successfully cleared the interviews and secured placements in prestigious hotels in the hospitality sector.
These certificate courses are open to JMC and non-JMC students, fostering inclusivity and accessibility. Moreover, the college remains committed to meeting evolving student needs by introducing new courses in the future based on demand and prevailing circumstances.

Additionally, JMC offers the innovative Earn While You Learn program, empowering students to earn income while studying. A standout feature of the college is its Radio Broadcasting Lab, where students dive into the dynamic world of radio broadcasting. With broadcasts reaching every corner of the campus, students can showcase their talents and connect with peers uniquely and positively.
Moreover, JMC boasts a vibrant club culture, with clubs such as the Music Club, DIY Club, Finery Club, Culinary Club, Health and Wellness Club, InFocus Club (responsible for publishing the college bi-monthly newsletter), Art and Photography Club, and the Agro Fresh Club. These clubs offer students avenues for personal and professional growth, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
