The Red Ribbon Club of Jubilee Memorial College organized a flash mob at the Mokokchung Municipal Council premises as part of an awareness initiative directed by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) on Thursday. The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of social stigma on people living with HIV, and how stigma leads to discrimination and impacts their health and well-being. It also highlighted how HIV-related stigma can deter individuals from getting tested, disclosing their status, and seeking necessary HIV services.
