On July 29, Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), Mokokchung organized a Career Guidance program at Aongza Ki under the theme “Bridges to Brilliance: A Career Guidance Symposium.” The event was organized by the Department of English (JMC), and featured 4 distinguished panels of speakers.
The panel included Alemyim Isaac Solo, who secured the 2nd rank in NPSC 2021 and ranked 749 in UPSC 2023; Limayapang Longkumer, a JEE 2016 participant, NSSB 2023 qualifier, and winner of the Start-Up India Nagaland Yatra 2019 for Social Start-Up; Wapang Ozukum, recipient of the North East Young Artist Award 2008-2009, the 24th Nagaland State Art Exhibition 2009, and the Governor’s Award in Art 2022; and Akangtemsu Yaden, an acclaimed academic with multiple proficiency awards and a Gold Medal from the Senate of Serampore University for his Master’s in Theology.
Each panelist shared their journey and achievements in their respective fields, providing students with valuable guidance and a clearer path to achieve their own goals. The symposium also featured a query session, allowing students to engage directly with the panelists.
