The Department of Psychology, Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), in collaboration with Soul House Academy, Chuchuyimpang, Mokokchung, observed World Autism Awareness Day 2026 with a student led programme centred on the theme “Autism and Humanity.”
The event was attended by the Principal and Administrator of Soul House Academy, Arenla Lemtur, who welcomed the JMC delegation and commended the department for its practical and meaningful approach to community engagement.
The programme, initiated and conducted by psychology students, was carried out with active participation and engaging activities. It provided both an enjoyable and educational experience, offering students a platform to learn, interact and raise awareness about autism.
The initiative concluded on a positive note, highlighting the importance of collaboration, understanding and sustained efforts towards inclusivity.
