Kabor Salangtem, a public welfare group in Mokokchung, voluntarily constructed a footpath along the road crossing Edith Douglas Higher Secondary School (EDHSS) and Jubilee Memorial School (JMS), addressing the significant traffic congestion that occurs during school hours.
Recognizing the importance of student safety, the group constructed the footpath, investing approximately eighty to ninety thousand rupees. The funds were raised through a tambola event organized on May 2nd.
