The Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA), under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), organised a Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament as part of the activities following the induction of its new office bearers.

The programme was chaired by Apila C. Sangtam. Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Longdiba L. Sangtam graced the occasion and encouraged the participating players.
KDCA President Andrew welcomed the gathering and urged players to give their best while maintaining discipline and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. He also expressed gratitude to the 14th NAP (IR) for allowing the association to use the ground for the event.
The programme began with an invocation by Dr. Bhim Sapkota of NBCK, followed by a special number presented by Catherine Seyamle.
The oath-taking ceremony for the participating players was administered by Asemong Michael, General Secretary of KDCA. The oath encouraged players to uphold discipline, fair play and the spirit of sportsmanship during the tournament.
The tournament aims to promote cricket in Kiphire district and provide local players with opportunities to develop their skills and gain competitive experience.
