The Miss Kohima 2024 beauty pageant, organized by 4FRONT Event Management, took place on October 21 at Kohima College, showcasing the vibrant talent, beauty, and cultural pride of the region. The event featured 16 semi-finalists representing various institutions from Kohima, each bringing their unique flair to the stage.

The prestigious title of Miss Kohima 2024 was awarded to Kelulu Dawhuo, who received a cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with gift hampers worth Rs 30,000. Anon Konyak secured the title of 1st Runner-up, receiving Rs 15,000 in cash and gift hampers also valued at Rs 30,000. The 2nd Runner-up title went to Merilo M Kikon, who was awarded `10,000 in cash and gift hampers worth Rs 30,000.

In addition to the main titles, several special awards were presented.

Merilo M.Kikon was named Miss Talent, while Sharon Konyak received two awards: Miss Multimedia and Miss Beautiful Smile. Kelulu Dawhuo also earned the title of Miss Perfect 10, Seyievinuo Rupreo was recognized as Miss Congeniality, and Anon Konyak took home the Best Evening Gown award.

The event was creatively directed by choreographer Pewe Tunyi Khamo, with Theja Sekhose serving as the Show Director. Prominent designers included Kezhaselie Seyie, Kevisedenuo Khezhie, and Adaphro Seshuna, while Johnny D’Ascolli was responsible for the makeup artistry.

Mele Pucho, Ruopfuzhano Whiso, Abienuo Jasmine Ashao, and Dr. Theyiesinuo Keditsu made up the jury panel.

Held under the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” the pageant supported the government’s social campaign aimed at the education and empowerment of girls. The special guest for the evening was MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, chairman of the Kohima District Planning & Development Board, with IAS Deputy Commissioner Kumar Ramnikant serving as the guest of honour.
