Lumami, July 26 (MTNews): A press release from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lumami NU, informed today that Master Tanubhav Bhagowati and Master Waluniba Longchar, accompanied by P&HE Teacher Anil Saha are representing the state of Nagaland at the National Rounds of the FIT INDIA QUIZ, currently underway in Mumbai.
FIT INDIA QUIZ is a first-of-its-kind nation-wide quiz on fitness and sports for school children. It is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. More than 30,000 schools from all over India had participated in the first round.
It may be mentioned that Master Tanubhav Bhagowati and Master Waluniba Longchar, along with other Fit India Quiz state-level winners had been felicitated by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur, at a ceremony organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in Mumbai on 21st July 2022.
For the National Rounds of the Fit India Quiz, the prize money is Rs.25 lakhs for the champion school and Rs.2.5 lakh for students (Rs.1.25 lakh for each student). For the first runner-up, the school will get Rs.15 lakh and students will get Rs.1.5 lakh (Rs. 75,000 for each student). The second runner-up school will get Rs.10 lakhs while the students will get Rs.1 lakh (Rs.50,000 for each student).
