Naga artist Viketoulie Metha, aka Ket Meth, has released the official music video for his latest single “I Can’t Move On,” featuring JoeyBanana. Based in Kohima, Nagaland, the artist presents a reflective portrayal of love, loss and emotional stillness through the new release.
The song explores the period following the end of a relationship, focusing on the unresolved emotions that linger before healing begins. Rather than relying on dramatic expressions of heartbreak, the track dwells on quiet moments such as solitude, sleepless nights and persistent memories. The recurring line “I can’t move on” is presented as an expression of emotional honesty, capturing a state of vulnerability that many experience.
The music video is directed by Maong Imsong and produced by Nestvibe Production. It adopts a minimalistic visual approach that complements the song’s subdued tone. Creative lighting by Tinuakum Kichu is used to enhance the mood, employing controlled contrasts and muted colours to convey emotional tension and restraint. The video relies on deliberate framing, pauses and silence to allow subtle expressions to communicate longing and emotional dependence.
Avoiding overt resolution, the video remains aligned with the song’s core theme, portraying emotional inertia and the slow process of coming to terms with loss. Together, the music and visuals present an intimate narrative that reflects the complexity of emotional recovery.
