The Mokokchung Baptist Arogo, Women Ministry initiated the Mokokchung Yimlar KETSANG Friday Bazaar on 26 July at Community Facility Center near Indoor Stadium Mokokchung Village. The program was officially launched with an exhortation by Council Chairman L Mapu Longkumer.
The bazaar will be held every Friday, which will host 22 entrepreneurs as permanent members, showcasing their products and skills. The primary objectives of this market are to support local craftsmen and artisans, promote organic vegetable farmers, and highlight traditional village cuisines such as “Rosep,” for which the village is renowned.
This weekly market aims to strengthen the local economy by providing a platform for villagers to sell their goods and share their cultural heritage with a broader audience.
