The Khensa Students’ Union, Mokokchung, under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA), is organizing its 1st Open Futsal Tournament, which commenced today at the Asameyaa Futsal Turf in Khensa, Mokokchung. A total of 24 teams are competing in the tournament, which kicked off on Wednesday with N Chuba Phom, District Planning Officer, Mokokchung, as the guest of honor.
The matches in the tournament are officiated by referees and technical personnel deployed by the MDFA. It has been informed that three match referees and two technical officials will oversee the matches.
The three-day tournament is scheduled to conclude on May 3rd.
