As part of the nationwide campaign, Swachhata Hi Seva, being held from 17th September to 2nd October 2024, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Mokokchung Division, is conducting various Swachhata activities to engage communities in spreading awareness about cleanliness and reinforcing the importance of sanitation.
Today, September 26, the department along with Khensa Shisashir Telongjem (KST) and the Khensa Village Council, conducted a shramdaan and cleaned a garbage-vulnerable site in the village as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva campaign under the theme “Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata.”
This cleanliness drive also involved the segregation of single-use plastic waste by participants.
