Kohima, 13 January (MTNews): The Khongjiri Students’ Union (KSU) silver jubilee celebration cum 58th Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA) Federal Assembly was held at Khongjiri Village under Kiphire district recently. It was held under the theme “Resilience and Radiance”.
Speaking at the KSU jubilee, MLA and Advisor for Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guards, Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation, S Kiusumew stressed on the importance of unity and education and called upon the community to pursue for the same to be at par with the rest of the society.
EAC Khongsa Yithachu Thurr underscored the need and importance for skill development and encouraged the student community to discover where they are gifted and interested so as to succeed. The occasion was also marked with a seminar on skill development for the students on the theme, “Skill Development and Employment Worldwide.”
