The road stretch between Khubokita and Asukhuto (Atoizu B) has been temporarily closed from May 2, 2025, for a period of one month or until further notice, as part of precautionary measures amid ongoing road construction between Coco Doyang and Asukhuto (Atoizu B).
According to an official notification issued by Nukutulus Venuh, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Atoizu, the closure aims to minimize the risk of casualties caused by frequent rock slides occurring along the excavation site.
Travelers have been advised to take the alternative route via Khubokita Lhocheki – Naghuto New – Asukhuto (Atoizu B) and vice versa.
