The Kidima Inter-Denominational Revival Crusade concluded on December 1, 2024, at the Kidima Village Council Hall after a four-day event from November 28 to December 1, 2024, under the theme: “Arise, Shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1).
According to an update from Koinonia Media Ministry, the crusade featured prominent speakers including Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) and Principal of Kohima Bible College; Rokopra Mekro, Pastor of Koinonia Prayer Centre; Meyiengonu Tetso, Evangelist at KBC; and Khriezovolie, Chairman of the Men’s Fellowship, Koinonia Baptist Church. The praise and worship sessions were led by the Koinonia Prayer Centre Praise Team and the Bethesda Prayer and Healing Ministry.
During the culmination service, Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo delivered the main message, urging believers to “unveil their identity in Christ.” He emphasized the importance of understanding one’s identity in Him, citing Jeremiah 1:5, which reminds the congregation that God knew each person before they were born and has a specific purpose for their life.
Rev Kiewhuo stressed the uniqueness of every individual, stating, “No one can replace who we are, as God has created each of us for a unique purpose. We are not interchangeable, and only we can fulfill the purpose for which we were created.”
The preacher also addressed the broader mission of believers, reminding the congregation that the gospel is not confined to one community or denomination. He quoted Matthew 28:19-20, stating, “As believers, we are called to preach the gospel to every nation.”
Rev Kiewhuo further emphasized that in the last days, believers must pray more fervently, give generously, and preach the Word. He stressed that this aligns with the biblical mandate to win souls for Christ, referencing Proverbs 11:30.
He also warned that deep darkness would cover the earth in the end times, but those who walk in the light, preach the gospel, and continue the Lord’s work will rise and shine, citing Daniel 12:3.
The service featured a testimony by Matü Vero, while special praises were presented by Keneinguzo Üsou, the Bethesda Prayer and Healing Ministry team, Koinonia Youth, and Jr. CYE.
The event was led by Khriezovolie Suokhrie, with a vote of thanks delivered by the host of the crusade, Nomesanu Visa. The offertory prayer was offered by Lhouzakie Rutsa, Deacon of Koinonia Prayer Centre.
