Loyola Higher Secondary School in Kiphire hosted a Parents Day cum Science Exhibition on Saturday, October 19, 2024, under the theme “Garden of Gratitude.” The event brought together students, parents, and teachers, highlighting the important role of parents in education.


Temsuwati Longkumer, Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, served as the special guest, while Col Vikee Lamoria, Commandant of 41 AR, Kiphire was the guest of honor. Col Lamoria emphasized that parents are a child’s first teachers and urged them to be positive role models, noting their influence on children’s behavior and values.

He encouraged students to take advantage of educational opportunities and utilize digital tools for their learning. Col Lamoria also acknowledged the dedication of teachers, expressing gratitude for their role in shaping the future of Kiphire’s youth.

The event, marked by enthusiasm and participation, showcased the ongoing commitment of Loyola Higher Secondary School, established in 1972, to excellence in education.
