In a significant leadership transition, Longtili C Sangtam officially resigned from his post as the Chairman of Akehda Amulung during a brief function held in Kiphire today. Sangtam, who has been at the forefront of the organization’s initiatives, including youth empowerment and anti-drug campaigns under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, stepped down citing personal reasons and the need for new leadership to carry forward the vision of the organization.


Following his resignation, T Ariba was appointed as the new Chairman of Akehda Amulung. The appointment was unanimously endorsed by the Board of Directors and stakeholders of the organization. In his acceptance remarks, Ariba expressed gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him and affirmed his commitment to continue the mission of Akehda Amulung towards social awareness, capacity building, and community development.
