Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) held its 65th General Meeting on Tuesday at Seyochung Village. During the meeting, the Union resolved to adopt a federal structure.
SVSU President Longtili C Sangtam announced that 2026 will be dedicated to boosting civil service aspirants from Seyochung. He announced a 100 percent scholarship opportunity for NPSC and UPSC aspirants, sponsored by Rupin Sharma, IPS, Director General of Police, Nagaland. Under this initiative, one meritorious student from Seyochung will receive a full scholarship for NPSC or UPSC preparation at Kohima or Dimapur.
In addition, two more meritorious students from Seyochung will be awarded full scholarships for NPSC or UPSC preparation at Kohima or Dimapur in collaboration with Eduversity. The Union also announced an 80 percent fee concession for other aspirants from Seyochung Village.
The eligibility and selection process will be based on merit and economic background to ensure equal opportunity for deserving candidates.
The required documents include the highest qualification certificate, a no objection certificate from the Village Council, and ST and BT certificates. The last date for submission of applications is January 31, 2026.

During the programme, K Chumseli Anar’s Scholarship for 2025–26 was awarded to Ayingli and Khatila. The Union expressed gratitude to K Chumseli Anar for his support.
