The Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) has announced that it will conduct an inspection of the ongoing road metalling work between Sitimi and Seyochung HQ on March 17, 2025. This was stated in an official letter addressed to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Seyochung HQ, SVSU.
The union further noted that ”the said project is being undertaken by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).”
The purpose of the inspection, according to SVSU, is ”to assess the progress and quality of the work being carried out to ensure proper implementation.” The union also sought the cooperation of the authorities, stating, ”We seek your kind cooperation and any necessary facilitation in this regard.”
The letter was signed by SVSU President Longtili C Sangtam and General Secretary Tsise.
