On April 8, 2025, the United Sangtam Likhüm Pümji (USLP) reaffirmed its commitment to cooperation among various factions, declaring that no new or additional factions would be included in the cooperation framework. The USLP further announced a complete ban on any form of donations or demands directed towards Heads of Offices under Kiphire District, specifically by any faction or group.

Equally important, the house resolved to extend its ban on illegal taxations and demands. The specific prohibitions include: Taxation on vehicles carrying essential commodities entering Kiphire District from any route; Demands directed at any business community or individual within the district, as well as contractors and suppliers.

The USLP also declared that any group or faction found engaging in violent activities will be dealt with severely. Such groups will be debarred from operating within Kiphire District.

The resolutions were finalized during a consultative meeting held at R M Seili Hall in Kiphire at 10:00 AM, attended by representatives from the Kiphire Town GBs, Area GBs under Kiphire District, and the Kiphire District GBs Association. In the event of violations, the USLP has urged the victims to immediately report to the USLP or the respective GBs for necessary action.

The USLP also reiterated the 2007 and 2014 ENPO Resolution and appeled to all the Naga National Groups camped under Kiphire District to abstain/restrain from any kinds of violent activities/bloodshed under Kiphire District.

“In failing to adhere with this resolution, the USLP shall initiate strict action/s against the defaulting faction/party,” it added.
