Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire hosted its 27th Freshers’ Day at the college auditorium today, with Col Vikee Lamoria, Commanding Officer of the 41 AR Bn. Kiphire, as the special guest.

Dr Purna Chandra Mishra, Vice Principal of the college, welcomed and congratulated all the freshers, extending best wishes for their future endeavors. Mishra encouraged the students to set a good example for one another in all aspects of life, to be good friends, to be good students, and most importantly, to be good human beings.

Munguli, in his speech, discussed how the freshers come from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences but share a common goal.

He further thanked his lecturers for quenching their thirst for knowledge, which will ultimately transform them into refined individuals in society.

Addressing his colleagues, Munguli called for supporting each other, exploring new horizons together, and creating lasting memories throughout their journey. “As freshers, we promise to be cooperative, enthusiastic, and open-minded, striving for excellence in all that we do,” he said.

The program also featured a Mr & Ms. Freshers competition. Robert was declared Mr Freshers, and Danglila Thonger was crowned Miss Freshers 2024.
