Kohima, 19 November (MTNews): The Kohima Bible College (KBC) is all set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee Celebration at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS) Kohima ground from 21-26 November.
A press release from the organizing committee of KBC Golden Jubilee stated that the six day-long celebration will be held under the theme, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
The speakers for the celebration are Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church, and Principal Kohima Bible College (KBC); Rev Dr Vevozo Khamo, Vice-President Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC); Rev Dr Putsato Naleo, Founder President, Life Transforming Ministries; John Monger, Founder and Pastor. International Restoration Church Austin Texas, USA; Rev Dr Batkupar Dunai, Cathedral of Praise Now Generation Outreach Revival Assembly Shillong, Meghalaya; and Rev Dr Mati Joseph, Former Registrar of Kohima Bible College (1974-1984).
The weeklong celebration will feature the participation of college faculty, former faculty, and college alumni serving in various churches, associations, and ministries within the state, nationally, and across the globe. The celebration will commence on Tuesday, November 21, starting at 4 pm.
The celebrations will include the release of KBC 50th Golden Jubilee Souvenir, while it will also be a time of sharing the blessings and prayers for all those who have been associated with the college over the last 50 years of existence. President Kohima Bible College (KBC), Abei-ü Neihulie, will deliver greetings.
Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of Kohima Bible College (KBC) informed that the Kohima Bible College (KBC) is the First Charismatic Bible college in Northeast India and the first Bible College in Nagaland. It was initially established by the late Rev. Neihulie Angami during a period of revival movement and the Holy Spirit’s presence in the state.
Rev Kiewhuo also maintained that the former Principal, Rev Neihulie, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, inspiring him to initiate a ministry geared towards global missions. This endeavor was inaugurated in 1972 and has now reached its 50th year, marking the Golden Jubilee.
He informed that there will be a Golden Jubilee impartations and have invited people from all walks of life to come and receive the blessings of salvation, healing, breakthrough, deliverance, prosperity and restoration where evening services will be conducted at 4 PM regularly.
On Tuesday, Abei-ü Neihulie, President, Kohima Bible College (KBC) will dedicate the newly constructed Rev David Oliver Nunn Memorial Boys Hostel at the KBC Campus; On Saturday there will be a Musical Service from 10 AM onwards with participation of various Churches, institutions and individuals.
The organizers have informed all invited guests and attendees to register their names at the reception booth. Additionally, souvenir magazines and merchandise will be available for keepsake.
