Kohima, 15 September (MTNews): The Kohima Bible College (KBC) alumni meet took place on 15 September at the college campus with H Athiu, Assistant Professor at KBC leading the program and extending a warm welcome to the gathering. KBC is the first Bible college in Nagaland.

A press release issued by the college stated that Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of KBC, shared a message emphasizing that KBC would soon celebrate its Jubilee proclamation service later this year. He said, “The Golden Jubilee, as seen in the Old Testament, was a year of celebration, forgiveness, and restoration. This is our year of celebration, and we should shed tears of joy, not tears of regret. Many speak of reaping without considering the dynamics of sowing.” Principal Kiewhuo also emphasized that KBC was a strict Bible college in spiritual nurturing, including practices like dawn prayer and fasting, and reminded the participants that they are all saved to serve the Lord by bringing souls into His Kingdom.

He further noted that many students who faced challenges related to language, finances, discipline, and studies during their time at KBC have now become spiritual leaders and mentors in various ministries. He expressed pride in the college for producing competent leaders around the world.

Principal Kiewhuo encouraged both alumni and current students to present themselves as forerunners in winning souls, especially in anticipation of the second coming of Christ. He cited John 7:37 from the Bible and challenged them to be like rivers of living water, reaching out to the rest of the world.

The release added that KBC is the first Bible College in Nagaland and the first charismatic Bible College in Northeast India. It has produced spiritual leaders who are serving God in various parts of the world, including the UK, Australia, Africa, America, and European countries.
