The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) celebrated its 20th Foundation Day today at Step Inn Hotel, Seithogei, Kohima.

In his address, KDVA president Visasielie Suhu reflected on the history and formation of the Association and encouraged members to remain united and dedicated to the larger cause of promoting volleyball within the district and beyond.

On the occasion, KDVA also extended its congratulations to Visasielie Suhu on being elected president of the Nagaland Volleyball Association (NVA), and to Mhalevilie Kere on being inducted as Technical Secretary of NVA.

The Association expressed confidence that under their leadership, the volleyball fraternity in Nagaland will achieve new heights, fostering growth, excellence, and unity in the sporting community.

Further, KDVA called upon all volleyball enthusiasts to stay prepared and actively participate in upcoming tournaments, as the Association continues its mission to promote and uplift the sport across the district.

The programme was chaired by Ketusii Rikha, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Zekho Casavi.
