Kohima Law College successfully conducted a moot court session on May 16, 2025, as part of its practical training curriculum for sixth-semester students. The session was held under the supervision of Assistant Professor Kekhriesilie Richa, according to an update received here.

The exercise was designed to provide final-year law students with hands-on advocacy training, helping them gain practical insight into courtroom procedures and legal argumentation. Held on the college premises, the session featured students acting as advocates and presenting their cases before a panel in a simulated courtroom environment.

“This experiential approach bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, equipping aspiring lawyers with essential skills for their future careers,” the update stated.

“The college remains committed to fostering a rigorous learning environment, preparing students for the challenges of the legal profession through such innovative and experiential teaching methods,” it added.
