The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Urban Division has announced that a mudslide near the NST Garage at Lerie Chazou in Kohima has disrupted the local water mains. This incident has led to interruptions in the water supply services for the area.
PHED has reported that temporary restoration efforts have been largely ineffective. Full restoration will be done in collaboration with relevant line departments.
The department is working to resolve the situation and restore water services as soon as possible. PHED Urban Division appeals to the residents to bear with the inconvenience and continue their cooperation as the department is working to ensure the resumption of reliable water supply services to all valued consumers.
