The Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO) on Saturday conducted its first presidential council meeting at Gariphema Basa Council Hall, Kohima.
Delivering the presidential address, Khriesazo Liezietsu, President NAYO acknowledged Almighty God for the day and also the hosting village, Gariphema Basa in enabling the meeting, stated and updated from NAYO.
He told the members to let go of the past and should move ahead with a focus and think ahead for the welfare of the organisation.
Liezietsu also highlighted the NAYO upcoming programme and sought cooperation of each unit for the success of the events.
Earlier welcome address was delivered by Neilalie Pielie, General Secretary, GBVYSO and resolution was presided over by Neimezo Houzha, General Secretary NAYO.
The program was led by Kedosany Zhale, Vice President, NAYO, began with an invocation prayer offered by Zasituo Pielie, Pastor, NCRC Gariphema Basa and ended with a vote thanks tendered by Ruokouvituo Sote, Environment Secretary, NAYO.
It stated that altogether 16 villages with over 80 participants attended the meeting.
