Kohima, 31 July (MTNews): The Kohima Police have arrested one person in the investigation of the heinous crime against a 5-year-old minor, which took place earlier on 9 July in Tsiesema Village. In a press note on Monday, the Public Relations Officer (DEF), Kohima confirmed the arrest of a suspect in connection with the rape case.
The accused has been identified as Ville, also known as Aville Mere, a 20-year-old resident of Tsiesema Basa Village under Kohima District. The Kohima Police revealed that the rape case has been registered at the Women Police Station, Kohima, and that the criminal investigation is ongoing actively.
