The Kohima Pickleball Classic Tournament 2026 has concluded successfully at the Heritage Pickleball Arena, Old DC Bungalow, Officers Hill, Kohima. The two-day event, held on March 21 and 22 and powered by Ahibi Sports, witnessed participation from over 80 players across multiple categories.


The tournament featured competitions in men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, team event and veterans doubles in the challengers category. Organisers stated that the event reflected the growing popularity and competitive spirit of pickleball in Nagaland.

With a total prize pool of Rs. 1,00,000, the tournament provided a platform for both emerging and experienced players to showcase their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship.

In the mixed doubles category, Vilasier Khate and Manaseinee Hazarika emerged as winners, while Anangsha Alomyan and David Murry finished as runners-up. In women’s doubles, Manaseinee Hazarika and Anangsha Aloñ secured the title, with Eyeni Yanthan and Chubasenla Aier as runners-up.

Tonoto Ayemi and David Murry won the men’s doubles title, defeating Imsurem Longchar and Nzamo Kikon in the final. In the team event, The Home Court claimed the championship, while The Rally Social Club finished as runners-up.

In the veterans doubles challengers category, Abu Metha and Vikhozolie Khate emerged as winners, while Rohan Abraham and Lhouvi Punyu finished as runners-up.

Organisers said the tournament marked another milestone in promoting pickleball in the state, with strong participation and community support highlighting the sport’s growing potential in Nagaland.
