The Kohima Press Club (KPC) conducted its annual sports event on October 12 at Indoor Stadium Kohima with its members participating in various sporting disciplines including Arm Wrestling, Table Tennis, Target Shooting, Badminton, and Darts. The sports event was organized with the objective of fostering a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork among participants.
During the event, KPC Senior Member, HK Chishi gave away the certificates and cash prizes to the winners. Also speaking on the occasion, KPC President, Alice Yhoshü thanked the members for their participation and also thanked the Deputy Chief Minister and minister-in-charge of Planning & Transformation Department, TR Zeliang and MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu for sponsoring the prize money for the winners.
She also acknowledged the Nagaland Darts Association, Nagaland Olympics Association, Youth Resources and Sports Director, Kohima District Table Tennis Association, and Kohima District Badminton Association for providing the logistics.
