One-day State-Level Training for Dental Surgeons serving in the State under different programs like National Health Mission (NHM), National Oral health Programme (NOHP), National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and Quality Assurance was held at the Conference Hall, DH&FW Kohima, Nagaland on 21st Feb’2025.

The training was organized by National Oral Health Programme, Nagaland, and the program was chaired by Dr Reyosalu Lase, Dy. Director & SNO (NOHP), who also welcomed the training participants and highlighted the important objectives of the training.
Dr Meribeni Odyuo, Director (Dental), DH&FW, graced the event as the Special Guest. She emphasized the significance of NOHP under NHM and the need for convergence with other health programs like NCDs, NTEP, RBSK, and Quality Assurance to improve oral health in India. She encouraged participants to integrate the insights gained into their professional practice.
