The Nagaland Legislative Assembly has announced that the 28 Koridang Assembly Constituency seat has fallen vacant following the demise of its MLA, Lt Imkong L Imchen, on 11 November 2025.
In a notification issued by the Assembly secretariat, it stated that the vacancy is effective 12 November 2025. Imchen, a member of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, was also serving as Advisor for the Departments of Information & Public Relations and Soil & Water Conservation at the time of his passing.
