During the visit, Khamo emphasized the need to expedite construction, stating that timely completion of key infrastructure is vital for efficient governance—especially in districts like Tseminyu, which is still in its formative years.

While inspecting the projects in Tseminyu, the Advisor acknowledged the support of Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for allocating funds toward essential government infrastructure. He also lauded the efforts of CAWD officials, led by Assistant Chief Engineer Sungtiba Amer, for their supervision and commitment.

Appreciating the current pace of construction, Khamo urged contractors to maintain momentum and adhere to project timelines. He stressed that proper infrastructure is critical for smooth administrative functioning and public service delivery.

The inspection in Tseminyu was joined by DC Tseminyu Japhet Woch, the contractor, and other district officials.

At the Wokha site, Khamo recalled his earlier visit and expressed satisfaction that land acquisition was promptly followed by DPR preparation and the start of work. He reiterated his call for swift execution and warned against any laxity in public projects.

“Contractors must not display a lackadaisical attitude when it comes to public projects,” he asserted.

Khamo was accompanied by CAWD officials led by Assistant Chief Engineer Sungtiba Amer, who also instructed contractors to accelerate work and stock materials in advance to avoid delays during the rainy season.
