According to the construction technical report, the project received about Rs 1.62 crore under the Iconic Project 2025-26 while the total expenditure was recorded at about Rs 1.8 crore.

The remaining Rs 24 lakh was reportedly requested from Minister Metsübo by the Kumlong Ward Council to meet the shortfall.

The new facility replaces the earlier community hall, which had also been used as a youth hall and as a Sub-Centre for Health and Family Welfare. Both structures were dismantled to make way for the new project.

The new centre includes amenities such as washrooms, beautification works, fans, security railings and a gate. The building has an external measurement of 45 feet × 100 feet and a height of 90 feet from the ground floor to the rooftop, according to the technical report.
