KVK Mokokchung concludes Krishi Swarna Samriddhi Week with training and resource distribution

As part of the Krishi Swarna Samriddhi Week, launched on December 6, 2024, KVK Mokokchung organized various activities, including farmer-scientist interactions, awareness programs on soil health management, the importance of soil testing and soil health cards, and training-cum-demonstrations on mushroom production and animal health camps.

The programme concluded with the distribution of mushroom spawn and polythene bags for mushroom cultivation, waste decomposers for compost production, broiler chicks, and mineral mixture supplements for livestock. Extension literature in local dialects regarding soil testing and the soil health card scheme was also distributed. The KSSW events were held in Changtongya town, Sungkomen ward under Mokokchung town, and Longpa village.
