Tuli, November 7 (MTNews): A one-day training & demonstration on winter crop production technology was held at Rajeshwari Karuna School Tuli today at the school premises.
The resource persons were Dr. Keviletsu Khate, Senior Scientist and Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mokokchung; Khekali Sema, Asst. Chief Technical Officer, Horticulture KVK, and Imtisenla, Asst. Chief Technical Officer, Agronomy KVK.
The students and staff of the school were given hands-on training on when and how to plant the crops, the importance of organic farming, and its benefits.
The team also went on to demonstrate the ways to prepare and care for crop nurseries, and the process of transplantation.
The one-day training proved to be greatly beneficial to the students and the school.
