Mokokchung, October 19 (MTNews): PM Kisan Samman Sammelan was organized by KVK Mon on 17 October 2022 in the KVK campus.
The inaugural program was chaired by Zhiete, ACTO (soil science) where he explained the objective of the program and how the farmers have benefited from it.
Special guests during the program included H. Ponge Konyak, State Council Member (Aboi organization district, Nagaland BJP unit) and Aboi BJP unit members, Manlang Konyak and Nyangphong Konyak.
The Special guest appreciated the hard work taken up by the farmers and encouraged them to improve their economic livelihood by putting more effort in their farming activities and also encouraged use of improved technologies, high yielding crops varieties as well as pest and disease resistant varieties mediated by the KVK.
The inaugural program was followed by viewing of live telecast of the Prime Minister on PM Kisan Samman Sammelan. The program was attended by 69 farmers, staffs and other officials.
